Are we managing diabetic retinopathy or is diabetic retinopathy managing us?

Venue: The Royal Society of Medicine, London

Date: 8 February (Evening)

Whilst pivotal trials provide an evidence base for the management of diabetic retinopathy complications, they are limited by an artificial end point that is much shorter than the actual natural history duration. In this session we will  present our ‘real world' experience of managing this chronic condition and the long-term impact of diabetic retinopathy on our clinical practice.
