about this event

This meeting will provide a forum for junior doctors to present their research and provide a critical review of their work

At the end of this meeting the participants will have heard presentations on a wide range of topics that have been well researched and will have been introduced to some cutting edge research, valuable audit or new techniques.

We will be awarding both the Ophthalmology students and trainees prize and the Ophthalmology travelling fellowship bursary at this meeting. For further information, full criteria and to submit please click here.

Students and trainees will have had some formal and informal critique of their presentations encouraging good communication between seniors, trainees and students.

This meeting is an excellent opportunity for members of the Ophthalmic community to get together in a fantastic venue to facilitate Medical Students and Trainees in presenting a broad range of work from multiple sub specialities to an informed and receptive audience.  Afterwards there is time for informal feedback from and networking of senior and training colleagues.

The meeting is aimed at consultant ophthalmologists, training grade ophthalmologists and medical students.
